Counselling

“Therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional about your issues and concerns. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.” BACP website

My clients come to me for counselling because their lives are affected by anxiety, relationship loss, bereavement or other issues. We work together to explore feelings, thoughts and relationships as well as the past.

I work in an integrative way which means that I use a range of different approaches and techniques tailored to my clients’ needs.

I believe that the most important part of the therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. This is grounded in compassion, empathy, genuineness and authenticity. Consequently, I offer a free 30 min initial call so my clients can know whether this will feel right for them.

We take each session at a pace you are comfortable with and in a gentle manner. There are no complicated forms, no list of questions, just you and me, responding to what you bring.

Typically the sessions are 50 mins, once a week and can take place in my therapy room in the City or online over Zoom.

I help my clients with a range of issues, some of them listed below:

  • Anxiety, social anxiety and worry

  • Self-harm
